New EV charging station signals bid to have more sustainable, greener transport solutions

In a bid to push for cleaner and more sustainable transport solutions, Global Electric Transport (GET) Philippines, together with partners TGOOD LINCHR Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc, GREENSTRuM, and Ayala Malls recently installed an Electric Vehicle (EV( charging station at the Ayala Mall in Circuit Makati.

The second charging station of its kind in the country, it is designed to not only power up EVs but to send a signal that going electric is the way to go.

GET Philippines, a leader in mass-market EVs, has been deploying its electric shuttles in cities like Manila and Davao for quite some time now. Its COMET EV shuttles have been shuttling passengers to and from their destinations and are charged by stations such as the one put up by Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. These EV charging stations are assembled by TGOOD LINCHR while GREEnSTRuM oversees local distribution.

Together, the partners aim to put up EV charging stations in malls such as those owned by Ayala, as well as in other commercial establishments. The latest EV charging station in Circuit, Makati, follows the first one put up at the 30th Mall installed in early December.

With this, it is hoped that we see more clean, carbon-neutral EVs roaming our streets and serving the mobility needs of the Filipinos in the years to come.
